The 2017 AFA Spring Board of Directors Meeting will take place at the Red Apple Inn in Heber Springs on May 4-5. The Red Apple Inn has plenty to do including tennis courts, a golf course, fitness center, lake and forest trails.

On Thursday, May 4, starting at 6 p.m., we will have a reception and dinner. Our special guest and dinner speaker is Rodney Paul of Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas (RRCA). Started in 2003, RRCA's mission has always stayed the same: to care for ill, injured or orphaned birds of prey and to be able to release them back into the wild. RRCA has successfully released over 900 birds of prey back to their natural habitat.
The Board of Directors meeting will start at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, May 5; we plan to adjourn by noon.
Hotel accommodations are available at Red Apple Inn for a discounted rate of $120 per night for single or double occupancy.
To make reservations, call 800-733-2775 and mention Arkansas Forestry Association to receive the discounted room rate. The room reservation deadline is April 14.
