Women own approximately 56% of the private forestland in Arkansas but most have only a limited working knowledge of how to manage those lands.  Outreach is imperative in providing these landowners the information they need to make informed decisions on how to management their land.  With technical assistance, financial incentives and education they can be assured their forestland will remain healthy and sustainable whether it is for economic benefits or future generations.
