Mark your calendar for our first Women's Lunch and Learn virtual workshop, Persimmons - Growing, Eating, and Forecasting the Weather, on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 11:30 a.m.! We will discuss the background and benefits of persimmon trees, demonstrate how to pulp persimmon fruit and highlight a recipe for a persimmon cookie. This initial Women Owning Woodland event is designed to be more of a social interaction than a learning session.

All participants are encouraged to make the cookie before the meeting and share their experiences. If they are not all eaten, you can show the other attendees how the cookies turned out. CLICK HERE to download the recipe.
