The U of A Division of Agriculture Research & Extension in collaboration with the Arkansas Department of Agriculture - Forestry Division, Arkansas Forestry Association, and the Natural Resources Conservation Service will provide a forestry workshop on April 21 in Malvern. The workshop, titled Productive Forests Protecting Water: Forest Management to Increase Health and Production, will begin at 5:30 PM at the Hot Spring County 4-H Center and last until 8 PM. Dinner will be provided. Themes will include sources and threats of water, forest management practices to promote water quality, and getting the most from your pine forest.
