“The event is all about helping children in Arkansas. We will have many children’s activities and games, drawings and free gifts for every child that attends. Smokey Bear and other special guests are planned to be at the event. There will also be many live and silent auction items, drawings and an all you can eat catfish dinner, one of the Angel One helicopters is scheduled to stop by and let the folks see some of what their donations goes to support,” according to committee chairman Allen Farley. “Bring your friends and your appetite. Tickets are only $15 for adults and $5 for kids.”

The River Valley Log A Load For Kids event will begin with the doors opening at 4pm to view auction items followed by the fish dinner, guest speakers, live and silent auctions and results from the drawings.

“The River Valley chapter anticipates raising over $100,000 again for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital this year. It really makes you proud to live in a state where the folks are so generous,” Farley said.
