Join us for this fun and educational day to learn how sustainable forestry plays a vital role in protecting and enhancing our wildlife and habitat. Workshop attendees will participate in hands-on environmental education activities related to healthy forests and healthy habitat.

Workshop participants will receive training in two internationally recognized environmental education programs - Project Learning Tree and Project WILD. These programs provide respected and proven environmental education curricula that are approved by the Arkansas Department of Education for six hours of professional development for licensed educators.


Each participant will receive three activity guides containing over a hundred hands-on, interdisciplinary activities correlated to state and national education frameworks including Arkansas' New K-12 Science Standards absolutely FREE!!! Learn how to implement these activities into your forest field trips, outdoor events, classrooms, summer camps, and programs.


Participants must stay for the full 6-hour training in order to receive the curriculum guides and the PD hours. Lunch will be provided but you must pre-register.


Space is limited and registrations are taken on a first-received, first-reserved basis. Please consider your registration as a commitment to attend. If you cannot attend please cancel your reservation to allow others the opportunity.
