CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD AN ANNUAL MEETING REGISTRATION FORM. The meeting format—three days of content—will provide participants educational and networking opportunities. On Tuesday, October 6 we will have recreational activities that include golf at the Hot Springs Village Magellan Course and a sporting clays shoot at Smoke 'N Chips. There are only 20 spots available for golf this year, so we advise our golfers to register for that event ASAP. Participants of the shooting event will be required to bring two boxes of ammunition needed for the event.
Wednesday is a full day of speakers during our general session. The agenda will be announced at a later date. We will then conclude the night with our annual fish fry at the Hamp Williams Building.
The meeting concludes Thursday morning with AFA's Award Breakfast where we highlight and honor those in our community who are doing excellent work in the forestry industry. If you already know that you will be joining us this year, you can go ahead and reserve a room at the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort. We have received a special group room rate at Oaklawn. The final day to get the AFA special room rate is September 15. After that time, rooms will be sold at the prevailing price.
