  Landowner Education and Assistance
The AFA Education Foundation sponsors a landowner education and assistance program, offering a toll-free message line, 1-888-MYTREES, for landowners seeking forest management information. As part of this program, AFAEF holds a number of landowner education workshops throughout the state and publishes a variety of educational guides to provide landowners the information they need to make sound forest management decisions. For more information about landowner programs and activities, contact Director of Forestry Education Mary Ann Halsey via e-mail, the toll-free message line (1-888-MY TREES) or by calling the AFA office at (501) 374-2441.

Education and outreach programs serve to support the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, a voluntary certification program for forestlands and forest products manufacturers.
