AFA and Outdoor Underwriters, Inc., offer a hunting lease and timberland liability insurance program that provides coverage at affordable rates to AFA-member landowners and hunt clubs.

The hunting lease liability insurance is a comprehensive general liability policy with a $0 deductible and $1,000,000 limit on each occurrence, with a $2,000,000 aggregate. This coverage is available for $.15 per acre. Both the landowner and hunt club must be members of AFA.

Timberland liability insurance for AFA landowner members is available at $.24 per acre and covers only the land, not the standing timber. This policy covers owners, landlords, and tenants, and also has a $1,000,000-per-occurrence limit with a $2,000,000 aggregate. The deductible is $250. A combined hunting lease/timberland liability policy is available for $.35 per acre.
